
A high-tech enterprise in the clean energy sector needed a more efficient way to monitor solar power station operations and manage large volumes of equipment data. The customer specializes in solar support systems, energy storage, and clean energy solutions, with a global presence across Europe, Australia, Japan, and other regions. Its business includes solar brackets for roof, ground, and tracking systems, as well as energy storage and power station development, operation, and maintenance.
To support distributed solar projects, the company needed a solution that could improve monitoring efficiency, strengthen equipment management, and enable reliable data collection and storage for future analysis.
The goal was to create a central platform that would support real-time monitoring, simplify equipment management, and improve operational transparency across solar power stations. The customer also wanted the solution to handle large device volumes, support fast operational changes, and make it easy to configure new power station layouts.
We developed a platform that enables centralized collection and monitoring of thousands of devices, covering up to 100,000 data points in a single power station. The solution supports rapid switching of TCU operating modes and real-time fault alarm control. It was built with a .NET Core back end for cross-platform deployment, using InfluxDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis as the database stack. On the front end, we used Angular, HTML5, and CSS3, with 3D and animation functions implemented through Three.js. The system also supports standalone, cloud, and cluster deployment options.
The platform improves equipment management and helps optimize operating costs. Its flexible device and page configuration capabilities make it easier to adapt the system to new power station layouts. It also supports better data availability for future analysis and mining, while improving the customer’s ability to monitor and manage operations in real time.
This project shows our experience in developing scalable industrial software solutions for energy and infrastructure environments. We combine cross-platform back-end development, modern front-end frameworks, and open-source technologies to build systems that are secure, flexible, and efficient.
