Software QA Day 2026

At the Software QS Day, Holger Santelmann will demonstrate how the Cyber Resilience Act can serve as a tool for safely continuing to develop legacy projects. Clear, concrete, and drawn directly from real-world experience.

November 11–12, 2026, Frankfurt am Main

Software QA Day 2026

What should you do when software is supposed to remain in use but no longer meets today’s requirements?
The Cyber Resilience Act calls for a secure “retrofit” in precisely this area—akin to a custom modification for software.

In this presentation, Holger Santelmann (Lead of the Competence Center for Quality Engineering) will demonstrate how existing systems can be specifically enhanced to ensure they are secure and CRA-compliant.

Focus:

  • Compliant Development Process: Structure and Documentation for CRA Compliance
  • Strategies for legacy projects: Targeted modernization of existing software
  • Security Quality Awareness: Identifying risks early and assessing them correctly
  • Validation: Effectively verifying security requirements

The Software QS Day is the leading conference for software quality assurance and testing, and it brings precisely these topics to the forefront. We look forward to exciting discussions.
