M&M Software at the CRA Conf & CySecMed 2025
Two days, two lecture tracks, one common goal: advancing cybersecurity. At the parallel conferences CRA Conf and CySecMed 2025, experts from industry and medtech came together to discuss cybersecurity requirements, solutions for medical technology, and the Cyber Resilience Act.
Our highlights:
At the booth: Two teams, one spirit
Our joint booth for M&M Software and SEQLY was very popular. Our new colleagues Fabiola Hartung-Linz and Peter Hartung, the “MedTech power duo,” as well as Roger Faust were there. Between sessions, there were many good conversations and new contacts.
Presentations with drive and discussion
On the first day, our Director of Consulting MedTech, Peter Hartung, showed how an integrated management system (IMS) efficiently combines quality management, information security, and AI security. His core message: Regulations create security—identification creates impact. This message resonated: After the presentation, there was a discussion about how to create a system that not only works on paper but is actually put into practice.
On the second day, Peter was back on stage, this time with our Sales Manager Roger Faust. Spontaneously stepping in for Sven, the two explained our approach to holistic security. They not only showed what needs to be done for the CRA, but also how to do it with the help of our practical experience.
Evening: Emotions & wow moments
The first evening event amazed everyone. The live hacking session clearly showed how easily AI can create deepfakes today – and how insecure faces or fingerprints could be in the future. The clear conclusion: cybersecurity concerns us all.
The second evening was an emotional one: after 25 years, Gerhard and Cornelia Versteegen said goodbye to hlmc events and handed over their events to Heise Conferences. Their MedTech events have set standards and shaped the community for years.
