M&M Software at the 8th Mobile Machines Conference & 10th Hybrid Conference

Digital. Connected. Efficient. At the 8th Mobile Machines & 10th Hybrid Conference, everything revolved around the future of digitally networked machines - and we were right in the middle of it. Two days full of inspiration, valuable contacts and a powerful presentation by Dr. Kristian Schatz on data strategies for digital twins.

M&M Software at the 8th Mobile Machines & 10th Hybrid Conference

For the first time, we attended the 8th Mobile Machines Conference and the 10th Hybrid Conference. Two days packed with pioneering technologies and exciting insights into the world of mobile machines. Among them: Dr. Kristian Schatz, who showed how data strategies are taking the digital twin to the next level.

Dr. Kristian Schatz: Efficient data strategies for digital twins in the life cycle of mobile agricultural machinery
In his presentation, Dr. Kristian Schatz explained how AAS and ISO-XML optimize the life cycle of mobile machinery:

  • AAS (Asset Administration Shell) connects product data across the entire life cycle
  • ISO-XML ensures efficient data exchange during operation
  • Data Spaces create secure digital infrastructures for end-to-end processes.

In short: smart data = more efficient machines, less downtime, longer service life. The presentation was very well received and fitted perfectly into the program.

Our highlights:

  • Inspire: On the first day, 11 specialist presentations covered topics such as data management, sensor technology, AI and autonomous driving. A real highlight: Liebherr's remote workstation for construction machinery: With LiReCon, operators can now switch effortlessly between machines - ergonomically, without dust and noise. Simply ingenious.
  • Connect: The accompanying trade exhibition was perfect for exchanging ideas. In addition to us, Hydac, InMach and MOBIMA e.V. were also there. The exchange with experts from the engineering and development departments of Claas and Liebherr was particularly exciting - a perfect opportunity to discuss new ideas and learn from each other.
  • Celebrate: The first day ended on a relaxed note with an evening event at KIT. There were many interesting conversations over good food and an exclusive look behind the scenes of research.

Our first time at the Mobile Machines & Hybrid Conference was a complete success. We made valuable contacts, learned a lot of new things and enriched our presentation with important impulses. We are already looking forward to the next time - and will definitely be back!
