MEDICA 2024 was more than just a trade fair for us - it was a magnet for exciting discussions, new ideas and valuable contacts. At the joint stand of Medical Mountains, many of our discussions revolved around one central topic: how data management and AI can revolutionise medical technology.

In the MEDICA TECH FORUM, Dr Jens Achenbach impressed the audience with his presentation on the ‘Smart Data Fabric’ approach. He showed how intelligent data management and AI can increase efficiency in strictly regulated medical technology.

  • Double performance: Jens' presentation was so popular that he had to take to the stage twice without further ado. Both times ended in intensive Q&A sessions.
  • Spontaneous panel discussion: Jens took over the topic ‘EU AI Act in the context of MDR’ at short notice. He scored points in the discussion with valuable insights into data strategy.
