Implementation Award from the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance

Seven implementation projects were up for selection

With the first implementation award, the "OI4 Demonstrator Project" of the member companies UReason, Pepperl+Fuchs Group, WAGO Corporation, SAMSON GROUP, M&M Software GmbH, FOCUS-ON VoF, CodeWrights GmbH, KROHNE Group, Da Vinci College Dordrecht, and the Flow Center of Excellence in Duurzaamheidsfabriek. was honored by the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance.

The project shows how factory operators, OEMs and users benefit from the interoperability of different hardware and software components. Therefore, a real scenario of the process industry was set up in the "Duurzaamheidsfabriek" (Sustainability Factory) in Dordrecht, South Holland, showing how manufacturers of software and hardware realize a continuous data flow from the field level to the Cloud with the help of the OI4A reference architecture.

The jury was particularly impressed that numerous partners (OI4 members as well as non-members) have developed a joint solution that goes beyond a plain showcase.
