DevOps

Operation of your software solution

Faster and more agile to your innovation.

With DevOps and agile software development, we are reaching a new level of agility - in principle, agility 2.0. This holistic application of agile concepts to the software life cycle has increased the performance of our teams. Thanks to automated processes, we can roll out software faster and adapt it to customer feedback.

DevOps

As a software service provider, we see DevOps as an efficient and agile method of providing software solutions. DevOps promotes collaboration, automation and improvement in order to shorten time-to-market and increase quality.

A central aspect of DevOps is the automation of development, testing, security and deployment processes. Through continuous integration and continuous deployment, code changes are seamlessly integrated, tested and automatically transferred to the test and production environment.

Contents of DevOps

Today, the process is mostly practised in the form of DevSecOps. This is a further development of DevOps that integrates the security aspect into the entire software development and deployment process right from the start.

We apply clear security guidelines and standards, starting with a thorough risk analysis. Automated security tests and checks such as code analyses and penetration tests identify potential vulnerabilities at an early stage. The integration of security into continuous integration and deployment enables the rapid implementation of security patches.

DevOps emphasises the importance of monitoring and feedback in order to monitor applications in real time and identify problems at an early stage. DevOps also promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing between development, operations and support teams. By breaking down silos, we work more efficiently and achieve better results.

Sven Rieger

Sven Rieger, Head of Software Development Services

Sven Rieger is Process Owner for the development process. The Software Development Services department supports the projects in all overarching topics.

"DevOps is not only a link between software development and operations, but also a culture that raises the quality of software delivery and application to a new level. By integrating automation and a strong focus on security, DevOps enables modern solutions that are not only more efficient, but also more secure and reliable. For us, security is not only at the centre of our processes, but is an integral part of every phase of the development and deployment cycle."
