Workshop: Open Edge Computing (one-day)

Edge computing describes a decentralized system approach in which data is not directly sent to the cloud but is first processed in edge nodes.

Only selected data is sent to the cloud, which ensures a certain level of data sovereignty and data security. Fast and secure decisions can be made in real time due to the lower latency. The filtering of data and the selective online mode also make sure that bandwidth is saved.

The Open Edge Computing Workshop from M&M Software introduces you to the concepts of Open Edge Computing. In practical sessions, we show how to easily connect hardware, software components and cloud systems and thus significantly reduce the integration and service effort.

This one-day workshop starts with an introduction to the vision, goals and concepts of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance and its reference architecture.

In the hands-on portion of the workshop, our Open Edge Computing components will be presented and used. This way, solutions for connecting your devices to the cloud are created easily and within a short time.
