In parallel to the existing telecontrol solution, a WAGO PFC Controller collects additional energy data and sends it to the WAGO Cloud, which was developed based on Microsoft Azure. Stadtwerke Osnabrück relies on Microsoft Power BI to evaluate the large amount of data in a timely and efficient manner. This tool is perfect for analyzing and visualizing large amounts of data. In this way, data can be collected on the condition and behavior of the network in order, for example, to derive forecasts for the future or to check the effectiveness of measures. Thus, data on the state and behavior of the network can be collected to derive, for example, forecasts for the future or to check the effectiveness of measures.
WAGO Cloud provides an additional user interface for monitoring the WAGO components used. For example, alarms can be defined and the employees of SWO Netz GmbH can be informed promptly in the event of malfunctions. This enables the employees of SWO Netz GmbH to ensure the stability of the power grid also in the future.
